Washington National Cathedral

這是去年6月9日去Washington DC的遊記，那天傍晚史學長開車來旅館找我，我們一起去吃晚餐，然後就路過這個DC的著名景點「Washington National Cathedral」（國家大教堂），我們就停車去參觀一下。這是教堂的正面，因為去的那天不是什麼特別節日，所以教堂內部沒有開放，只能在外面拍拍照。

這張照片也是教堂的正面，教堂很大也很高，我們停車的地方比較近一點，所以很難拍到全景。

比較斜側地看這個大教堂，那天傍晚的天氣真的很好，教堂附近也有很多人潮。

很快就看到教堂的細部了，這是大門上面的浮雕。

大門旁邊的樑柱也有雕刻的聖經人物，我跟史學長都在討論這些人物是誰，不過最後還是不太能確定。這是左邊樑柱的人物。

這是大門右邊樑柱的人物。

這是大門中間樑柱的人物，這個人有拿著寶劍。

那天教堂旁邊人潮的原因，就是在這裡，大家都盛裝出席耶，看起來像是某對新人在這裡舉行的戶外結婚或是訂婚儀式。

拍完收工了，我們又走回停車場要開車一起去吃晚餐了。這是回去停車場時經過教堂某一側的窗戶。
