右邊照片就是Hotel Lombardy的外觀，主辦單位選了這個旅館是因為地理位置，這間旅館離絃樂複賽地點George Washington University，還有決賽地點Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts都是步行距離就可以抵達。外觀看起來還滿有歷史的歐洲風建築，旅館對面就是一個迷你小公園，旅館的地址是在Pennsylvania Avenue，這條路在地圖看起來是一條斜路，橫跨著好多主要道路。
下面照片是旅館門口，還有一個遮陽棚在旅館門口前面，我走進去check in的時候還有服務生幫我開門。
旅館門口的樣子，左邊金色的招牌寫著Hotel Lombardy，右邊有一個銀黑色牌子，上面寫著Historical Hotels of America（美國歷史悠久的旅館）。
主辦單位已經幫我把旅館費付清了，所以我check in的時候就跟櫃台說Washington International Competition，然後給了我的護照，櫃台確定了一下我的身分之後，就把房間鑰匙給我了。下面照片是我搭旅館電梯到十樓出來的樣子。
這間是我下榻的房間，在十樓的1005號房。
打開房間門進去之後，門的右邊就看到附鏡子的書桌。
書桌上面有旅館的服務項目，旅館的信紙、信封和便條紙，也有一張問卷。
還有一本Historical Hotels of America的書。
書裡面有一頁是介紹這間旅館。
書桌也放著房間的電話，不過下榻期間這個電話都沒響過。
房間也有無線網路，我有帶筆電跟iPhone，都不用設定什麼，在無線網路看到旅館名字的連結點進去，就可以上網了，很流暢，速度也很快。
書桌旁邊是衣櫃，也有附兩件浴衣，這浴衣還滿厚的，是毛巾那種材質。
衣櫃左邊有附熨斗跟燙衣架，還有幾個可以交給旅館處理的洗衣袋。有熨斗跟燙衣架真的還不錯，我馬上就拿出來把我皺成一團的襯衫燙到很好看。
衣櫃下面也有一個保險櫃，還有一個放行李的架子。
衣櫃右邊和浴室左邊的這個空間，放了這樣的東西，算是梳妝台吧。
梳妝台上面有一個袋子上面寫著Hair Dryer，袋子裡面放了一個吹風機。
跟書桌算是同一個空間，床旁邊的床頭櫃上面有一個桌燈跟鬧鐘，桌燈個人覺得很東方風格的。
房間的床很軟很舒服，還有六個枕頭，我睡覺的時候只用了一個。覺得一個人睡這一間好像有點太奢侈了一點，真的是很謝謝主辦單位。
房間的上面還有吊扇，不過吊扇上面並沒有燈，夜晚房間都是靠桌上的燈具打亮整個房間。
床的對面還有一個電視櫃，櫃子裡面都是空的，電視沒有很大一台，旁邊也放了一個跟床旁邊同樣東方風格的桌燈，不過比較小一點。
電視左邊進去還有一個隔開的空間，裡面放了一張玻璃桌子跟兩張藤椅。
我還滿喜歡這個藤椅的，很舒服，坐起來也有很放鬆的感覺。
玻璃桌子上面有放著一些巧克力零食跟一瓶酒，還有兩個玻璃杯。
藤椅跟玻璃桌子對面就是一個小廚房的空間。
左邊的地方有放著一台咖啡機，兩個馬克杯、一條抹布，還有一個冰桶。
咖啡機旁邊還放了不少咖啡粉，或是茶包，看起來應該是無料可以喝。
流理台右邊也有一個小水槽。
流理台下面中間這裡就是冰箱了。
冰箱打開來裡面裝了不少飲料跟酒，也有一些礦泉水。
另外一邊也放著不少碳酸飲料。
很快我就發現玻璃桌子上面也這樣一張Miniature Bar的價目表，當然價錢是非常貴，雖說主辦單位有跟我說，如果我想要什麼客房服務或是其他房間開支，他們都會幫我付，不過這麼貴，我實在喝不太下去。
我的房間看出去的窗景。
入住的第一天晚上，主辦單位在旅館一樓有一個宴會，當然我也盛裝出席了。下面照片是在旅館一樓通往宴會廳的走廊，那個是一個很正式的場合，我實在沒辦法拿出相機一直拍食物，覺得好像很失禮。餐很好吃，有前菜沙拉，主菜我點了鮭魚餐，最後還有一個甜點。
每天早上睡醒的時候，都可以看到旅館從房間門下面把報紙丟進來。
