Metro from Foggy Bottom to Smithsonian

這是6月9日去Washington DC的遊記，那天早上先去了George Washington University的音樂系，聽了一點Washington International Competition的絃樂準決賽，聽完我就想說要去博物館參觀一下。於是我就從學校一路走到捷運站，還滿順暢的，在捷運站附近看到這個華盛頓的銅像，上面寫著學校的名字，旁邊有個牌子寫著是學校的medical center（醫療中心），銅像的右邊就是這間大學的附屬醫院。

銅像的左邊就是學校的School of Medicine & Health Sciences（醫學與健康科學學院）、School of Public Health & Health Services（公共健康與衛生服務學院）。

醫院跟學院的中間就是捷運站入口，這站是Foggy Bottom - GWU Station。

在捷運站入口我發現禁止好多東西喔，裡頭不能抽菸、不能飲食、不能帶寵物、不能播放廣播或是影片、不能亂丟垃圾、不能攜帶危險易燃物。難怪我覺得DC的捷運是滿乾淨的，車站裡頭也沒人邊走邊吃東西。

我要搭的車快要到站了，月台的紅燈一直閃，車頭的藍燈也從遠處到近處。

Foggy Bottom這站是藍線，我要到的終點站是Smithsonian，也是藍線，所以不用轉車。這站很多人下車，也是到DC的Smithsonian系列的國立博物館最近的一個捷運站。

捷運站裡面也有博物館的廣告，是Smithsonian的「Freer Gallery of Art and Arthur M. Sackler Gallery」（弗利爾美術館及賽克勒美術館），這個兩個美術館都是展示的亞洲的畫作及美術品。這是很有名的葛飾北齋日本浮世繪《神奈川沖浪裡》。

這是Smithsonian Station裡面的樣子，這個站很大，兩個軌道都放置在中間。
