White House

這是去年6月10日去Washington DC的遊記，那天早上我就沿著下榻旅館的Pennsylvania Avenue一路走到歐先生的家「White House」（白宮）去。一大清早散散步過去還不錯，可是沒想到滿早的時間白宮那邊就滿多參觀的遊客。下面照片就是白宮的現場，有被黑色的鐵欄杆圍住，鐵欄杆裡面沒有辦法進去（要預約白宮參觀行程才可以進去裡面）。

不過相機的鏡頭可以伸進去鐵欄杆裡面，才可以拍到這樣的照片。

既然來了就拍拍照再回去，我又換了一個位置再拍一張白宮。

很快我就發現白宮前的噴水池吸引了我的目光，所以再拍一張噴水池的照片。

白宮對面有一個小公園叫做「Lafayette Park」（拉法葉公園），我站在這個公園往白宮方向拍過去。白宮對面也有人搭帳棚耶，上面還有標語「Ban all nuclear weapons or have a nice doomsday」（禁止所有核子武器或是有一個美好的末日）、「Live by the bomb, die by the bomb」（跟炸彈同住，與炸彈共亡）。

白宮旁邊也有一棟很引人注意的建築物「Old Executive Office Building」（舊行政辦公大樓），這裡也是門禁森嚴，但是華麗高聳的建築風格，真的會讓人多看幾眼。

我後來繞到舊行政辦公大樓後面去，看到了一個地標，這是「First Division Memorial」（第一師紀念碑）。

這個金光閃閃的紀念碑是紀念那些在第一師服役陣亡的美國陸軍。

從這個第一師紀念碑看過去對面，是一個大的停車場，還可以看到DC的地標Washington Monument（華盛頓紀念碑）。

停車場附近還可以看到一個很大的建築物，是「Corcoran Gallery of Art」（科克倫藝術畫廊）。
