Renwick Gallery

這是去年6月10日去Washington DC的遊記，那天早上去了White House（白宮）跟在白宮隔壁的Lafayette Park（拉法葉公園），那天天氣也是一個大晴天，在外頭久了也會熱。這兩個地方附近也有一間也是Smithsonian系列博物館的Renwick Gallery（倫威克畫廊），我就想說進來這裡參觀一下，順便躲避烈日。這裡主要的展品都是美國的藝術作品，免費入場，進去的時候門口一樣會有警衛會檢查隨身的包包。

進去馬上就可以看到畫作區。

畫作區是一個很大的房間，所有的畫作全部都是很密集地掛在整片的牆壁上。

中間那幅畫應該是這個畫作區最大的一幅畫。

這一片牆壁都是掛著肖像畫。

大致在這畫作區拍了這五張照片，我沒有在這裡逗留很久，之後我就去看一些藝術品展區。

這是弗雷（Viola Frey, 1933-2004）在1983年的作品「Lady in Blue and Yellow Dress」（穿著藍與黃色洋裝的少女），材料是上釉的陶器。

這是弗恩特（Larry Fuente, b. 1947）在1988年的作品「Game Fish」（釣魚），使用玻璃纖維、木頭跟混合媒材做成。

這是奧迪歐（Rudy Autio, 1926-2007）在1986年的作品「Listening to the East Wind」（聽見東風），使用是上釉的石頭。

這是史特頓（Therman Statom, b. 1953）在1994年的作品「Arabian Seasons」（阿拉伯四季），使用了玻璃、石頭、木頭、紙張、塑膠跟顏料。

這是克勞（Nancy Crow, b. 1943）在1977年的作品「Crucifixion」（釘於十字架），使用材料是商業染棉。

這是卡索（Wendell Castle, b. 1932）在1985年的作品「Ghost Clock」（鬼鐘）， 使用的是漂白過的宏都拉斯紅木跟染布。

這是詹姆斯（Michael James, b. 1949）在1993年的作品「Quilt #150: Rehoboth Meander」（第150號被單） ，使用的是棉花跟絲綢。

這是西德奎斯特（John Cederquist, b. 1946）在1992年的作品「Ghost Boy」（鬼男孩），使用的是樺木膠合板雲杉、銅葉楊樹、環氧樹脂鑲嵌、苯胺染料。

這是塔里亞比特（Lino Tagliapietra, b. 1934）在2005年的作品「Mandara」（曼德拉），使用材質是玻璃。

這是葛瑞特（John Garrett, b. 1950）在2001年的作品「Harvest」（豐收），使用的是混合媒材。

這是伍特曼（Betty Woodman, b. 1930）在1990年的作品「Kimono Vases: Evening」（和服花瓶：夜晚），使用的是上釉的陶器。

這是普利斯尼格（Matthias Pliessnig, b. 1978）在2011年的作品「Drift」（漂流），使用材質是白橡木跟竹子。 這很顯然是張椅子，但是放在這裡只能參觀，連觸摸都沒辦法。

這是佩利（Albert Paley, b. 1944）在1974年的作品「Portal Gates」（大門），使用材質是鋼、黃銅、銅、青銅。

館內還有一間很昏暗的展區，牆上有掛著一些畫，吊燈也很華麗，這區中間也有一個很顯眼的展示品。

這是拉蒙特（Karen LaMonte, b. 1967）在2009年的作品「Reclining Dress Impression with Drapery」（傾斜的衣服印象與紋路），使用的材質是玻璃。

這是哈里斯（Virginia R. Harris, b. 1937）在1994年的作品「Candy Box」（糖果盒），使用材質是棉花跟金屬線。

這是舒馬曼（Kim Schmahmann, b. 1955）在1993-1999年的作品「Bureau of Bureaucracy」 （官僚風的機構），使用材質是各種膠合板和硬木、珍珠、金箔和黃銅。

參觀完這裡我就打算回旅館休息一下。下面照片是二樓的川堂，牆上也掛著一些畫，這裡的吊燈也是走古典華麗風，往這川堂樓梯往下走就是出口了。
