那天大約早上七點多，我就抵達了Hartford Union Station，我要搭Amtrak去DC。之前就訂好票了，所以我就直接拿列印出來的訂票單，上面有條碼，在右邊照片的這台機器，刷一下條碼，確認一下旅程，就會自動把車票印出來了。我這段來回旅程一共有四段車票，所以一下就拿到了四張。
下面照片是第一段的車票，是從Hartford到New Haven的火車，編號是Amtrak Shuttle 495。這段很短，從早上7點45分發車，到8點35分就會到了，只有50分鐘。
這是Hartford Union Station的火車軌道，只有單線通車，另外一軌好像壞掉了，沒在使用。
我很早就在火車軌道旁候車，這台車是7點40幾分來的，我還以為是我要搭的這班車，不過後來車長跟我說不是，要我等下一班。
這是我搭的這班車，表訂是早上7點45分到，不過誤點了五分鐘，是7點50分才進站。
車廂上面的樣子，還好沒有很多人，所以一個人可以佔兩個位置，很舒服。

座位旁邊也有兩個插頭，可以一直玩手機都不用擔心沒電。
而且車上也有無線網路耶，這車沒有很多人，所以有試圖連看看無線網路，速度還可以。我的經驗是車上乘客一多，無線網路會比手機網路還慢，甚至都連不上去。
車子順利抵達New Haven, CT，要幫車子拍拍手，誤點約五分鐘進站，表訂是早上8點35分抵達，居然還提早了15分鐘到站，8點20分就到了。Amtrak很少有這種會早到的。
這是Amtrak Shuttle 495停在New Haven Union Station月台上的樣子。我要轉車就直接站在同一個月台就行了，要搭的那班車會停在同一月台的另外一邊，直接上車就可以了。
