Siam Ocean World - Living Ocean

這是7月16日去參觀泰國曼谷的Siam Ocean World（暹羅海洋世界）的系列文章，一路沿著參觀路線走到了第三區（Zone 3），是「Living Ocean」區。這區還是有很多很奇怪的海底生物，下面這張照片是Black-Spotted Moray Eel（大斑裸胸鯙），或稱海鰻，幼年的海鰻通常是深色的外表，長大之後才開始變成有斑點的模樣。通常棲息在小礁石縫隙或洞穴中，靠著偽裝保護著自己，還有迅速地埋伏獵食。

這是Ribbon Eel（黑身管鼻鯙），又稱海龍或五彩鰻，幼魚是全身黑色的，讓他們可以在環繞四周的海藻中隱藏得很好，等到他們長大之後，開始變成黃色或藍色的外表。

這是Stonefish（石頭魚），館內有兩隻。石頭魚是一種具有毒性的魚，如名所示，這種魚通常可以維持很久都不動，藏身在岩石中伺機去捕捉經過的獵物。

館內的另外一隻Stonefish，上面照片的那隻是整隻露在沙上面，下面照片這隻也是露在沙上面，但是跟後面的石頭一起偽裝的很厲害。

這是Banggai Carinalfish（考氏鰭竺鯛），這種鯛魚是印尼的Banggai Island（邦蓋群島）的特有種，這種鯛魚是由父系在嘴中孵化的，公的成魚在他們的嘴中放置著蛋，直到幼魚孵出，成魚通常也會找海葵當成他們的保護所。

這是Pajama Cardinalfish（絲鰭天竺鯛），棲息在珊瑚礁區域，那裡可以找到很多小的甲殼類動物當作食物，如copepods（橈腳類）或是蝦子。

這是Thorny Seahorse（有刺海馬），海馬不像一般魚類，他們沒有魚鱗，但是他們有皮膚裡有骨頭來保護。而且海馬的尾巴可以讓他們穩定的像船錨一樣停泊在海底植物上，避免他們被海潮捲走。

這是Hermit Crab（寄居蟹），他們用很強壯的貝殼保護著柔軟的腹部，避免他們受到襲擊。寄居蟹並沒有在貝殼裡面成長，他們隨處找著空貝殼搬家，當他們長大時，就必須找越來越大的貝殼居住。

我忘記這隻是什麼了，不過這個水槽裡面都是Angelfish（神仙魚）種類。

這是Humpback Grouper（駝背鱸），被廣泛發現在熱帶印度太平洋的珊瑚礁。他們有著白色身體跟黑色斑點當做偽裝，當他們長大，仍舊有黑色斑點，但是白色身體會變成為棕灰色。他們以小魚跟甲殼類動物為生。

這是海洋中的活化石，Nautilus（鸚鵡螺）。

鸚鵡螺有著堅硬的外殼保護著小與柔軟的身體，他們隨著水波製造出來的水柱移動著，很像噴氣推進一樣。鸚鵡螺是一種很長壽的動物，過15到20年才會長成成年的型態。

這隻是Bamboo Cat Shark（條紋斑竹鯊），是一種體型不大的鯊魚，在館內的Back of House Tour（幕後之旅）活動裡面可以看到在培育這種鯊魚的幼魚。
