那天我們早上就搭了大會準備的遊覽車，從學校出發，大概快一個小時的車程才抵達大皇宮區域，那天還是星期天，是個大晴天，所以大皇宮附近滿滿都是人潮，還滿恐怖的。我們的遊覽車停在上面這個照片的地方，後來這個牌子就變成我們的meeting point，約定了一個時間回到這裡。我只記得這個牌子上面有隻兔子，比較好認。
為了怕找不到兔子牌子，我還順便拍了一下兔子牌子附近的路牌，泰文是完全看不懂，英文是寫Soi Silpakorn，我後來知道Soi是巷子的意思。
巷子附近有一個建築物，我們一群人就不知不覺走到這裡。
結果走到門口發現不是我們目標物，這棟建築物是King Chulalongkorn Memorial Exhibition Building（朱拉隆功紀念展會館），電影「安娜與國王」或是「國王與我」的那個泰國皇帝就是這位朱拉隆功大帝。
於是我們就往反方向，往大皇宮入口走去，途中看到這樣一個牌子，泰文一樣看不懂，英文寫著Department of Fine Arts（美術系）。
最後終於抵達人山人海的大皇宮入口，不過我們一群人好像也跟著散掉了，最後我是跟到美國匹茲堡大學作曲教授Eric跟他的太太，還有泰國愛樂交響樂團的客席指揮Jeff跟他的朋友，還有香港作曲家Wing-Sang這一行六個人的組合，進入大皇宮地區。
我在皇宮入口附近拍到的皇宮裡面的樣子，右邊藍色的那棟是玉佛寺（Temple of the Emerald Buddha），中間高高那棟金色的是舍利塔（Phra Sitatana Chedi）。
泰國人民是免費參觀大皇宮，不過外國人想要參觀就要付門票泰幣400元。付了400元就可以拿到三張票券，我只用了下面這張票券，這張是大皇宮跟玉佛寺的入場券，票上面寫「The Entrance Ticket to the Grand Palace and the Temple of Emerald Buddha」。
第二張是這個，我沒用到，票上面寫「The Entrance Ticket to Vimanmek Mansion Museum, Support Museum Abhisek Dusit Throne Hall, Sanam Chandra Palace, Arts of the Kingdom Exhibition at Ananta Samakhom Throne Hall」。
第三張票是這個粉紅色的，這張我也沒用到，上面寫著「Ticket to the Pavilion of Regalia, Royal Decorations and Coins」。
後來我才發現我們團的另外一組人是跑去另外一邊的臥佛寺，我有點小後悔沒去那邊，因為2009年來曼谷那次旅行，我就有來過玉佛寺跟大皇宮了，臥佛寺倒是沒去。
小提醒：夏天天氣這麼熱，想必很多旅客都是穿無袖的衣服或是短褲或夾腳拖，但是參觀大皇宮跟玉佛寺，入口會有警衛嚴格控管服裝，穿無袖上衣或背心、不到膝蓋的短褲或是短裙，還有涼鞋或是拖鞋，都會被禁止進入大皇宮與玉佛寺地區。
