Taiwan Taoyuan International Airport Terminal 1

很幸運地今年暑假有機會參加從7月9日到14日的「泰國國際作曲音樂節」（Thailand International Composition Festival），收到獲選可以參加的通知沒多久，我用我來回美國多趟累積在日本全日空（ANA）的哩程換了一張曼谷來回機票，換到的是同在星空聯盟（Star Alliance）的泰國航空班機（Thai Airways）。之前來回美國台灣都是過境日本，所以使用的都是桃園機場的第二航廈，距離上一次使用第一航廈是去年的一月搭乘韓國航空（Korean Air）的飛機轉機首爾去美國，那時候對第一航廈的印象很差，到處都在施工中，加上新聞也屢次報導第一航廈出包的消息。不過7月8日這天搭泰航我走進來第一航廈，整個大改觀，真的變很漂亮，甚至有凌駕第二航廈的地步。一走進來就看到這個像兩雙白色翅膀的屋頂尾端，弧狀中空的的設計，讓初醒的陽光從翅膀中間灑落下來，讓繁忙的機場大廳變的很有設計感。

在白色翅膀的部分，我還看見這個透明的電梯，很漂亮。不過出境大廳外面的交通還是有點打結，還是都有看到正在施工中的痕跡，機場的暫時入口也很小。

我走到泰國航空的check in櫃臺，下面照片是商務艙的check in櫃臺，可惜我換到的機票只有經濟艙。

這裡是泰國航空經濟艙的check in櫃臺，我必須說check in櫃臺也變的很漂亮，跟機場外觀的白色翅膀設計如出一轍，櫃臺的設計也是有著一樣弧度的原木顏色溫暖質感的翅膀。

去泰國前一天在我家附近的台灣銀行換泰幣不是很順利，因為去換的時候台灣銀行只剩下百元鈔的泰幣，不想帶那麼厚的泰幣鈔票出國，我就順便換了一點美金備用。Check in完畢之後，我就到了地下室的這間在機場的台灣銀行想說換看看有沒有千元鈔的泰幣，答案是有的，不過行員問我要換嗎？因為只接受新台幣的匯兌，意即就是我必須先把美金換成新台幣，再把新台幣換成泰幣。其實還是有匯兌損失，不過我最後還是換了，決定換了的原因是手邊有足量的泰幣對這趟旅行還是會比較安心。

換完這間機場的台灣銀行旁邊，就是美食街，下面照片是美食街的Burger King。

換完泰幣我就準備出海關過安檢，海關安檢的地方還是很糟，很昏暗而且處處可以看到之前破爛的第一航廈痕跡，可能還需要時間讓這裡煥然一新。過完海關安檢之後，準備去登機門時就看到下面照片的這樣用中文字書寫的通道。

機場也處處可以看到這樣的綠色走廊，植被著真實的植物在牆壁上。下面照片是往A側或B側登機門中間大通道牆壁。

我搭機的登機門在B側，下面照片就是某一個B側登機門通道的牆壁，也是這種綠色走廊。

下面照片是機場的某一個書店前的機器人巨型公仔，看到這個我都會很想拍。我也走進去書店看了一下，當然目標是看看有沒有曼谷的旅遊書，不過我發現日本的旅遊書遠比曼谷的多很多，出境日本除了國泰航空以外，應該都在第二航廈吧。

這裡是機場的一個餐廳，叫做「好饗廚房」（homee kitchen），我還記得上次來第一航廈經過這間餐廳，附近真的很破爛，不過這次來整個改觀了，改裝還是有成效的。而且這間餐廳在附近散發出來的味道實在太香，抵達這裡時才早上七點，是早餐時間，真的會有一種會被吸進去的感覺，還好我盡力克制住。

在前往登機門的走廊窗戶拍到了還是正在施工的白色翅膀的第一航廈，從破爛不堪到現在，我還滿樂見第一航廈改裝的落成，看到煥然一新的驚喜總是令人感到興奮。
