Red Cube

這是10月14日旅行紐約的遊記，那天下午3點多去了曼哈頓下城區的One World Trade Center（世貿中心一號大樓）買了晚上6點的展望台的票，中間有一點空檔，我就在這附近逛逛走走。走到了一個很高的建築物是Marine Midland Building（馬林米德蘭銀行大廈），是HSBC銀行的大本營，但是這棟建築物前面有一個超搶眼的公共藝術作品，整個把摩天大樓的風采都搶光。其實這裡一直都有遊客在拍照，好不容易找到一個沒人拍照的空檔拍了這一張照片。

這是美國藝術家野口勇（Isamu Noguchi, 1904-1988）1968年的作品「紅色立方體」（Red Cube）。野口勇的父親是日本詩人野口米次郎（Yone Noguchi, 1875-1947），母親是美國作家吉歐蒙（Léonie Gilmour, 1873-1933）。超搶眼的大紅色立方體，從中間銀色圓柱體的空洞，也可以在都市大樓中看到在立方體裡面窺視的小小世界。
