Whitcomb Summit and Elk Memorial

這是7月25日跟教會Ming-Hui兄去Mohawk Trail的遊記，我們到了Florida, MA的這城鎮，來到一個景點叫做「Whitcomb Summit」。遠遠看到一個牌子跟建築物，建築物前面還停了很多車。

牌子上面就是寫Whitcomb Summit，還有一隻鹿，旁邊寫著Motel and Cabins, Tavern and Restaurant，那間建築物應該就是一間旅館。

鹿果真是比較吸睛一點，牌子旁邊就可以看到一隻金色的鹿，這隻鹿還被黑色柵欄圍起來。

這個金色的鹿下面有一個牌子，寫著「The Elk on the Trail」（在道路上的鹿），下面小字寫著In Memory of the Brothers of the Massachusetts Elks Association Who Died in the World War。

看著金色的鹿還是比較雄偉一點，所以還是拍了不少鹿的照片。

看看鹿的臉部，鹿的角也好大喔。

鹿的銅像旁邊還有這樣的一個剪報，上面寫說這個鹿就是同胞的象徵。

說是Summit，也就是山上的至高峰，不過還是不是挺好看的，因為前面那些樹真的很礙眼。

後來想想，難怪這旅館開在這裡為什麼還會有生意，想要看連綿山峰的話，應該入住旅館視野就不會被樹擋住，應該會很漂亮的。但是這裡鳥不生蛋耶，這附近連個店家都沒有，去哪裡都要開車，選擇住在這裡的旅客應該就是想要讓自己好好清靜沉澱一下吧。
