American Museum of Natural History - Asian Mammals

這是spring break期間3月27日那天下午去紐約American Museum of Natural History（紐約自然歷史博物館）參觀，這篇文章是「Asian Mammals」（亞洲動物）篇，這區位在該館的二樓位置。

這是水牛，不過在台灣看到的水牛好像頭上的角都沒這麼誇張的大。

這是印度犀牛。

黃牛，台灣鄉下可能還有機會可以見到，在城市的話可能買票的地方比較有可能看到。

這牛的角還滿誇張的，看起來是高地居住的牛。

身上有斑點的梅花鹿。

跟亞洲動物區一樣，也有超大型的大象在這裡，這是亞洲象。

這個也是鹿，不過他們身上沒有斑點。

右邊那隻是一隻小羚羊，左邊這隻是個印度水獺。

獅子（沒鬃毛看起來氣勢很不夠）。

左邊這隻是一隻體型很小的鹿，叫做muntjac（麂），右邊這隻是spotted chevrotain（斑點鼷鹿），也是一種體型很小的鹿。

有波浪狀的角的羚羊。

犀牛跟他的小朋友。

黑熊跟他的小朋友。

這是豚鹿（Hog Deer），名字起源應該是一般的鹿遇到障礙物會跳過去，這種鹿遇到障礙物會用他頭上的角當工具，像野豬一樣橫衝直撞過去。

這是印度野豬。

在樹上跳來跳去的長臂猿跟他的小朋友。

鹿爸爸跟鹿媽媽，還有他們的小朋友（這裡好像是親子篇）。

水鹿（Sambar）被一群野狗（Wild Dog）襲擊。

孟加拉老虎。

世界上跑最快的獵豹。
